TIP of the week
This week’s tip is more environmental than technical.
It concerns classroom projectors not powering down if an active computer connection is detected.
If the teacher computer has been left on, locked or logged on then the projector attached to it will not completely switch off even when the projector on board timer has been set to do so.
As a result the projector entering semi sleep mode while displaying a blue screen which remains until the PC is again used.
The solution is to simply switch the PC and projector off when not in use.
