Welcome to our Virtual Learning Environment

Over the past few months, our VLE has been used to support communication within an international project.  The project involves several European countries working together, to create a handbook about healthy eating for children.

From September 2010 onwards, our VLE will be used to support your child's learning at home.  Teachers have access to each area of the VLE, where they shall upload different educational activities, homework activities and provide additional information about events happening within each year group.

Take a look at the links on the right-hand side of this home page and encourage your child to use them as often as possible.  One particular link to use is the 'ThinkUKnow' website.  This website is aimed at a wide audience, explaining how to use the internet safely.

Our School and the Local Area

Marsh Hill Primary is part of Stockland Green ward. We have links with Marsh Hill Nursery, local primary schools, Stockland Green Technology College and the community leisure centre. We also have links with Bridge Special School and Stockland Green Health Centre.  We are part of Stockland Green Extended Schools Cluster.  We recieve support for PE in school from Kingsbury Sports College.

St Marks Church is very close to our school and the 'Father' regularly comes into school.  Local businesses often support our school and work with friends of Marsh Hill.
